Abstract
Population Council, a research-focused NGO, and MicroSave, a consulting firm partnered with four financial institutions in Kenya in order to provide critical financial services to adolescent girls. Programs that offered credit were not meeting the economic or social needs of girls and hence it was necessary to offer secure savings products to them.
